Delete your Acordle account

Use this page if you want to delete your Acordle account or request deletion when you no longer have access to the app.

From the app

If you have the Acordle app installed on your device, the fastest way to delete your account is through the app settings:

  • Open Acordle.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap Reset or delete account (trash can icon) and follow the instructions.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by sending an email to:

Important security requirement

You must send the request from the same email address you used to sign in to Acordle. For your security, we verify ownership by hashing the sender email address and matching it against our database. If the hash does not match, the request will be rejected to prevent unauthorized account deletion.

Please include the following information in your request:

  • Your nickname in the app, required to confirm the target account.
  • If you used Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email enabled, we can only verify requests sent from your Apple private relay address.

We will process your request without undue delay and, in any event, within one month, subject to any extensions permitted by applicable law. Once deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

What data is deleted?

When you delete your account, we remove your private data, including synced progress, user statistics, and notification tokens. As explained in the Privacy Policy, some records may be retained for legitimate purposes such as maintaining ranking integrity, preserving entitlement history, and keeping purchase verification or review metadata needed to investigate refunds, ownership restores, or manual entitlement decisions.
